Purpose
The UNEXTRA Journal publishes general educational material about skincare, ingredients and health-related questions. It is not a substitute for personal medical diagnosis or treatment.
Evidence and language
We distinguish established findings from association, biological plausibility, emerging evidence and personal preference. We do not present uncertainty as danger or absence of evidence as proof of absolute safety.
Sources
Evidence reviews prioritise systematic reviews, peer-reviewed research, recognised regulatory assessments and authoritative public-health sources. Material claims are linked to sources wherever practical.
Commercial interests
UNEXTRA publishes educational content and also develops and sells skincare products. Articles may discuss product categories or ingredients relevant to the brand. Formulation choices are presented as product decisions—not as proof that other lawful products or ingredients are unsafe.
Corrections and updates
Articles may be revised as evidence or regulatory guidance changes. Material corrections are identified within the article where appropriate.
